Yellow Weaver birdby ~James-Marsh

Chester Zoo has plenty to see and do, but one thing you might walk past is an unassuming door marked "Tsavo bird safari" but inside you can get close some fairly exotic small birds as you go 'inside the cage' so to speak.

One such bird is the Yellow Weaver bird - or Village Weaver(Ploceus Cucullatus) they were all happily building their nests - I've posted this picture mainly as you see both weaver bird and weaved nest, but also because of the sense of movement conveyed by the sharp body but blurred wings due to the speed of their movement.

Taken with a Canon 7D and Sigma 120-400mm OS
